Quality coffee and homemade cakes out in the sunshine made for a perfect afternoon tea. Apple, walnut and coconut cake, vanilla slice and baked cheesecake all delicious and generous. Been here plenty of times previously. Very consistent with service and quality. Well priced home style food that has never disappointed.

I went here recently for a lunch with friends. Ive never been here before and to be honest didnt even know it was a cafe! It is filled with Marilyn Monroe images gallore but it works. The place was really warm and inviting, the food is good homely food. Good prices and serving size. Will definitely head back to this... More

Stopped here after checking out the Brighton Jetty Beach Sculptures on Sunday morning of Australia Day holiday weekend. Nicely spaced (& stable) tables, prompt friendly service, great value for money, with a variety of choices, including sweet & savoury crepes. We ordered a Caesar salad to share. It arrived with mixed greens, dressing, plenty of nicely done bacon, anchovies, feta... More

I've often been to this cafe and loved taking my friends there for Brekky catch ups. Last week, I went there with a girlfriend to catch up before I went overseas and we wanted to leave In anger. To be honest if we hadnt paid, We would have. I ordered the mushroom and steak potato pie. When it came out... More

We visit a cafe etc every Sunday morning. The cafe filled with Marilyn Monroe photos is affectionately called 'Marilyn's' by all the Brighton locals. Carol the lady who owns Marilyn's is friendly and kind and loves having a chat with her customers. Staff are lots of fun and love to have a joke and a laugh with all the locals.... More

Whenever we are lucky enough to visit the area, a trip to "Marilyns" is essential. Not a massive menu but all cooked to order generous portions and very good value all served by pleasant staff in an eclectic dining room. I can thoroughly recommend the banana smoothie accompanied by banana and coconut cake.

Stale bread, canned asparagus, floury tomatoes and overall appalling food. Bad customer service almost like they were doing us a favor serving us! I became quite ill from the food and do not recommend this place to anyone. Never again!!

Lovely breakfast/lunch spot to catch up with friends on Jetty road in the heart of Brightons cafe strip... moments from the beach.Decorated with Marilyn Monroe memorabilia it has a casual persona with wooden picnic style benches inside and an area out the back which is a little crammed but more private.Toilet out here also. On the front footpath outside there... More
