I live just around the corner from The Geese but haven't visited for years - partly because I now have 3 children and it's not a pub that is particularly welcoming for kids. I actually don't have an issue with that as predominantly adult spaces...More

Great selection of Ale. Very friendly barman. You can choose you sausage, choose your mash and choose your gravey! What more could you want! Great Pub in a great part of Brighton!

Perfect place to enjoy a massive sunday roast. Relaxed and friendly, best to book a table. The food was delicious.

Menu is almost entirely bangers and mash but plenty of choice for bangers, mash and gravy. No doubt someone has worked out the number of combinations possible. Eton Mess suitably Etonian. An unpretentious corner pub but one that makes a non-Brightonian wish he did indeed...More

Regular visitors to the geese. Can't fault the sausage and mash on the offer on Wednesday. Roasts are one of the best in Brighton. Do need to book or get in early though as often fully booked

Called here for a Sunday evening meal and was very disappointed. The pub was packed which is always a good sign, but the the clientele are mainly students and let's face it, many wouldn't know quality if it hit them in the face. The food...More

You know you sound like Donald Trump right? Thank you for your review and I'm sorry it was't to your exacting standards. How you knew that most of the customers are students is quite unclear, and as you assumed all the staff were students when...More

Initially the idea of eating in a pub that served just sausages seemed a bit odd, but it really is worth a visit, with a good range of sausages, different varieties of mash, and various vegetable/side dishes to accompany. Added to this is a very...More
