My friend is vegan so trying to find somewhere we both want to eat can be hard sometimes. We had been here before and it was a disaster - waited 30 minutes for drinks and cancelled our order because it was getting towards a one hour wait. However this time was excellent. Fresh juices came within about 5 minutes and... More

Had a lovely lunch with a friend her and have always enjoyed their food but very disappointed when I was served a lemon and ginger tea with honey in it despite stating I was vegan. The waitress was really nice and apologetic but this shouldn't have happened in such a clued up restaurant.

This is a great place for a snack or meal, it is really friendly and welcoming. You can sit outside or there are plenty of seats inside. There is a good selection of food available and also a list of specials on boards. All the food is specially made so leaving something out of a dish is not a problem;... More

I love Wai Kika and I've been going there for years now. I must say I love their all-day breakfast so much that I hardly ever order anything else. Staff is always very nice there and I love going there. Great vibe. Also, don't forget to try their oreo cake!

This is just a brilliant find! I'm not a vegetarian but was told this was a good place to eat and it is. Huge portion of Mezzes which I really shouldn't have finished but it was too good to waste. Great to be able to have gluten free bread, too - which was delicious, unlike most of the cardboard on... More

I recently visited with my husband and four year old son, and we had the veggie breakfast. It was delicious and inventive, and I recommend all to try it! Great tunes, great service and delicious veggie food!

The vegan food on offer in Brighton is much more extensive than elsewhere in the UK, but WaiKikamookau exceeds its competition with their fully vegan breakfast. The tofu is so flavoursome and so moreish! And the cashew pesto is just divine! We've had the full vegan two days in a row now, and I'm sad that we're leaving Brighton today... More

I was in Brighton with a friend who needed a gluten free meal. The staff at Wai Kika Moo Kau could not have been more helpful in enabling him to choose suitable options. Everything was freshly cooked, good service and a fair choice. I am not a vegetarian but this cafe really did seem to try to reach out to... More

I'll be honest, I usually find it quite hard to eat at vegan/veggie places as I'm a carnivore (basically how veggies probably feel other restaurants) I was really surprised at how good the food and drinks was here! I would definitely come back again soon!

So nice to be able to get a veggie breakfast that leaves you feeling completely stuffed. The service can be a bit slow but that's just a tribute to how popular this spot is. the mini breakfast with extra halloumi is a winner for me along with a freshly squeezed juice. Love it!
