I am not a fan of the ambience and think the wine mark ups are bad enough before they then surcharge on their by the glass prices. Their Crianza Rioja for example is marked up at or close to 300% and then they add anothger...More

The food is so well presented then carefully described by the waiting staff who are very friendly and seem genuinely enthusiastic to be working there. The flavour sensations are amazing with an imaginative blend of vegetables that are complimented by an interesting addition of herbs...More

This is seriously the nicest food I have ever had! It's smart and cosy and casual all at the same time. The vibe is perfect and the staff are all lovely. I had the sneaky peeking steamed buns and it was fabulous, such great flavours...More

We loved the tasting plate and polished the lot off. Our main meals were fab too. We were too full to order desserts though so if you want a dessert don't take a starter. Service was great - will be returning next time I'm in...More

Our friend is a vegetarian & he loves Terre a Terre. I now understand why. The menu sets out an array of unusual (or in my case, unheard of) ingredients for each nattily named dish. When it arrives, it is a thing of beauty; presented...More

My wife loved it, I liked it, as a none veggie it was good but the main was a little over complicated (Aloo sailor). Great service, great presentation, would try a different main, starter was good, good wine and drinks menu, smart casual, good atmosphere.

Great choice and interesting food. The service was good and waitress was very intensive. Busy as was Brighton festival week. Enjoyed the food fresh and filling. Lovely atmosphere. Has a small outside area, but I ate inside.

Hi, I'm coming to Brighton for a few days and looking for a really beautiful vegetarian meal on New Years Eve. I am so excited looking at your trip advisor reviews and pictures as we have nothing similar in Cardiff where I live. Am I able to dress very smartly for a new year meal or are you more of a casual restaurant? Karen x

Do you offer a set menu option? I have visited previously when you did offer 2 or 3 course set, but I can not see this on your website. Many thanks

Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
