Really good vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Amazing food, but not cheap. One of the best vegan meals we've had out.

We hoped a Monday lunchtime would mean we wouldn't have to book. And we were right. The restaurant wasn't deserted, but we were able to get a window seat, which meant we could watch lots of charismatic Brightonians wander past, as we enjoyed our amazing...More

It's a long way from home so it's been a while since we visited this restaurant - but it was just as good as we remembered. The staff are charming, well informed about the menu, unobtrusive and unflappable - quick to clean up when we...More

Stumbled across this cafe' on a recent visit to Brighton. I did not recognise most of the ingredients on the menu so decided not to stay. I explained this to the waiter who replied with a withering criticism that made me feel inadequate.

Thanks for your kind words that are very much appreciated. The "More Heart Than Tart" dessert has been a real winner this summer. As for the salt caramels, you are not alone in this devoted following. Hope to see you soon.

Description
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
