Chose this restaurant (the open terrace area) for our last night in Brighton, an excellent choice. We both had a large bowl of mussels each. Perfectly done with nice lightly toasted crusty bread. A thoroughly enjoyable meal on a lovely warm evening. Good service, however,...More

We booked this restaurant before we came away. It would have been hard to find, if it wasn't for their outdoor seating area. It was a warm evening so we sat outside but there was the added benefit of patio heaters. I chose the sea...More

We did not eat in here because the manager said that he was waiting for booked customers to turn up ( This was at 9-00 at night) and there were only four people inside. He said that we could sit outside facing a grotty wall...More

Hello, The restaurant makes no claims to that and if they did I imagine they would advertise it. I suggest you contact Restaurants Brighton for more information. Have a nice day

Description
Nestled amongst Brightons famous Lanes, filled with bohemian cafes and boutiques, is The House Restaurant a favourite hang-out for Brighton's foodies. Located only minutes away from the seaside and the Royal Pavilion, The House Restaurant is a cosy establishment spread over two floors in a converted Victorian house decorated with a modern vanilla and chocolate brown colour scheme. The food here is modern British, and specialties include beef Wellington and steak - customers come back again and again for the sirloin and fillet steaks, all tender, cooked to order and served with your choice of chunky chips or new potatoes. The extensive menu has something for everyone including, this being Brighton, a great range of vegetarian choices. Weather permitting (or even if it doesnt theres heating!), theres a lovely outdoor terrace set in a cobbled sheltered square in the south Lanes.
