Just to let people know, we visited here today and although it is still a lovely pottery shop, it no longer has a cafe.

I live in Lewes and regularly visit Baltica.Whilst I am disappointed that they no longer have a full menu ( and that they are closed on a Monday, the one day I dont work)I still enjoy the Latte and gorgeous cake. The coffee is definitely one of the best I have tasted so I always return for that. The staff are always... Lots of Blue and White pottery is my lasting impression. Good coffees and cake and friendly staff apparently being paid the Living Wage. We bought a spoon rest in the shop next door. There's parking in the side street next to it.

I was in Lewes on a sunny Sunday and stumbled across this lovely coffee shop by the castle. It was not too busy and I was seated quickly and served straight away. I ordered the hot chocolate and wow, wow, wow, it was delicious. It came out in quaint pottery which you can buy from the shop within the coffee... More

A nice range of drinks and cakes. Pleasant staff. A shop section selling Polish pottery. All a bit different and worth a visit.

My wife & I regularly walk into Lewes from Ringmer cultimating in the climb up the high street just to saviour the best cappuccinos you will ever taste. I am a hot chocolate man & quite honestly I have never tasted anything quite like it. Our only fear is that everyone will discover this little gem & we wont be... More

I've visited Baltica on several occasions with my husband and parents for a coffee break, and we've never been disappointed! The cappuccinos are the creamiest, and most delicious I've ever tasted! So good in fact that every one I've tried since has never been as good! I'm also told the hot chocolates are really nice and velvety too. I also... More

I always drop into Baltica when I'm in Lewes - mainly to check out the latest additions to the range of Polish pottery. The cafe is worth the visit too - drinks and cakes are served in/on the cups and plates from the shop and are reasonably prced. Service is friendly and efficient. All in all, a good spot to... More

Very inviting and welcoming staff. Top cheese cake and coffee. Bit expensive but nice treat on holiday. Pottery shop is a bit pricy too but maybe that's normal for Lewes.
