This was a great pub however it is currently closed being refurbished hopefully it will remain the quality it had prior to closure. Given the lack of quality from some other pubs in Bourton this was the best

We have frequented the Mousetrap for three years and enjoyed the experience under the Bates stewardship. However my patience has finally run out with the new management re: the cask ale. The pub has been listed in the CAMRA handbook for several years now and...More

You don't say exactly what you think is wrong with our beer, if anything. And you've chosen not to speak to us about it, preferring to go online anonymously, which is a shame. We love talking to our locals and we love getting feedback on...More

Thanks for your review. We remember your visit well. On the night itself, you told us, and I quote, that our food was 'too fancy'. We only want our customers to be delighted and happy with the service and food they have here at the...More

Thanks so much for this fantastic review! We believe that good burger is essential for any pub that offers food, and we are so glad that you enjoyed ours. The meat is local and sourced from a very high quality local butcher. We also believe...More

Had the cheeseburger at £9.75 on the menu and a pint of cider, all quite tasty but was surprised at the bill, £15.30 which seemed a mistake as it quoted bacon cheeseburger and a pint of Amstel. I asked if it was someone else's order...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Mousetrap. The chicken burger was moist and tasty, the fish and chips massive with lovely crisp batter, and the local sausages full of flavour. Can't fault the staff who were extremely helpful and although we arrived just after...More

A gem of a place hidden away from the busy centre of Bourton, the Mousetrap served up a great Sunday roast. Adding cheese sauce to the cauliflower would have made it even better, but a great place to have a meal with family and friends.

We last ate here 41years ago so decided to drop in for Sunday lunch. The Mousetrap is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bourton on the water but far enough to get away from the masses. The current management have only been there for...More
