We visited this pub on a pub crawl around Cirencester and decided to order the 'basket of fried chicken' for £5. When it came both the chicken and the chips looked undercooked and to confirm our suspicions the chips were hard and broke in half to the bite. We asked for a refund and the landlord looked at us in... More

Me and my two friends overnighted here in a triple room. The room is lovely: very clean, warm, cosy but spacious enough for 3 people. The person running the b&b is really nice and checked us in outside of check in hours without any problem. Breakfast is tasty and plenty. Great attention to detail overall and excellent value for money.... More

I stayed here and was presently surprised. The room was very nice and quite and the breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Definitely want to stay here again. Only drawback is the lack of parking, but there is a car park within walking distance, which is free overnight.

I stayed here for a weekend as a solo traveller. Excellent breakfast. Shower very powerful. The room had all the basic things you need. Skylight above the bed. Clean towels everyday. Free WiFi actually worked which is something large hotel chains cannot achieve. Internet TV didn't work however I was only there for sleeping so not an issue.

We booked ahead and ate early on NYE with our daughter who has disabilities. As I mentioned when we booked we would wheel her chair up to the table. It was all set when we arrived. The staff were so friendly and swift and attentive. Food and wine was excellent, you don't always get get a good wine in a... More

I booked our stay here because I liked the name and we were traveling to Bath the next day. I loved the historic building and staying in the stables. Dinner was delicious, beer was great, and the whiskey was fantastic. The room we stayed in was small and cozy and exactly perfect for two single people. Full breakfast in the... More

We arrived a little late at our B&B and used the pub as it was almost next door. It was a little quiet, but the staff were friendly and the menu more traditional pub food. I had the steak and chips which was excellent, well cooked and good value. My partner had macaroni cheese which was also excellent. We were... More

We stayed recently on a Satruday night and had a lovely time. We had a family room which was comfortable and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower amazing!! The pub is approx 5 minute's walk from town so the location is very close to everything, yet very quiet. There is no parking at the pub, but there is... More

Good, genuine food in a calm traditional pub. Went there twice n a week while staying in Cirencester for work. I would go there again. Waitress very kind.
