There were 5 of us for lunch. The pub was warm and the staff friendly and welcoming. We all ordered off the specials board and it came in a reasonable time. It was perfectly good pub grub at a reasonable price . We have visited on a number of occasions over the years and it seems to have kept up... More

Very disappointed with this local pub fare... ordered scampi tails... they could have been anything in breadcrumbs... straight from the frozen section of the supermarket...my partner had chicken korma... plenty of chicken in a runny liquid with no korma flavour...rice was over cooked and watery... Just wasted £20....won't be returning...

Value for money not great at all. Food not at all freshly made seemed to be microwaved to heat up resulting in a few dishes being burnt round edges. We have tried eating at the Glen maybe 3 times in the hope the food has improved from our last visit due to being our local pub. Sadly we won't be... More

The play area was great for our 2 children. The drinks we were given including a cider and a lager were not nearly filled up to the top. The food arrived quickly, the chilli looked like it had been warmed up briefly from the freezer and had no juice/sauce to it just mince. The lasagne was lovely , the children's... More

We visit the glen from time to time and always regret it. The garden is lovely for kids, they are even trying to catch the pesky wasps that plague pub gardens. But that's all there is good about it. Dull inside and even duller food. Chips were hard through, and one burger took over 30 minutes and was sat waiting,... More

Terrible atmosphere. Bad beer. Poor staff and the worst manager in history. It is as though he is trying to lose business by alienating his clientele. Most locals want a new manager so that the pub can get back to being a place of fun like it used to be. I'm sure it will be soon so fingers crossed!

Came in Tonight (19th july) with my wife for meal. Excellent service from bar staff and food very quick. My wife had the chilli con carne and I opted for a special they were doing which was a macaroni pasta bake with chorizo, chicken and black pudding (and garlic bread) and was one of the most delicious dishes I've ever... Friendly staff but not particularly customer focused, bar staff more keen to speak to each other . Quite dark interior setting dominated by 'sky tv screen' - fine if you are soccer fan . Varied 'specials ' board . Large beer garden which was reasonably quiet but had large play area for children which looks as though could become a... More
