Went in expecting to order a traditional Sunday lunch, which was available, but changed my mind when I saw mac 'n' cheese on the menu (with a twist) and wasn't disappointed.

Stayed at No.5 Bridge Street last night. Wish we could return next weekend! A warm welcome. All staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Very professional, yet relaxed. The bar is lovely. We did not have an evening meal here but will definitely do so when we stay next. The cooked breakfast was gorgeous. Our room was large, with a... More

Visited today for breakfast prior to work meeting. Orders taken, slow service meant coffee was finished & cold prior to the meal arriving. Veggie breakfasts were served, looking very burnt probably by a blow torch. The bubble had lost its squeak & the Holumi was beyond redemption; apparently the reason for delay they had lost the granary bread!!! The third... More

We stumbled upon No.5 looking for a bite to eat and stayed for one of the most incredible meals we'd had for a long time. The menu takes its inspiration from Tapas but with an emphasis on high quality local produce. The plates are tapas sized so pick about four or five between you, leaving room for dessert of course.... Had lunch and dinner, both been good food. But it does take an age to get get served and get the food. It's a great place if i meeting up with my girlfriends as we can chat away 30-45 minutes, not so good if you have hungry teenagers and husband. Food is good, better than most heavily branded restaurants and... More

I phoned the evening before our stay to find that we were in luck and there had been a cancellation. I happened to mention how happy I was as it was my birthday weekend and we really wanted to stay at No.5. Upon arrival we were taken to room No.6, absolutely beautiful, spacious and immaculately tidy. On the desk was... More

Valentines Day Lunch. Fantastic food - hampshire braised beef and tasty parsnip puree. Attentive service. Second time for lunch in a month and would recommend.

Pre Valentines dinner and what a delight. Hampshire (England) take on tapas. Vibrantly fresh ingredients blended in a cacophony of flavours, textures and colours. Served in a relaxed but attentive style.

I love the helpful staff here: nothing is too much trouble. Excellent coffee and wide variety of light lunch bites and yummy soup. It was spot on and a sound stopping off point a couple of minutes off the centre and easy to find. Great.
