The service could be more efficient. Staff lost focus, too much chat behind the bar. The duck breast with dauphinois potatoes was very good as was the affogato.

I have been to the plough inn many times over the last 20 years and always considered it a good quality reliable pub to take people visiting our office which is nearby. Unfortunately last week’s visit was not good. We were a party of 10...More

We really enjoyed the ambiance of the pub and it’s child friendly garden on a sunny Bank Holiday Sunday . Friendly staff. Very relaxing.

Met up with friends last month, which we have done before a few times. Lovely setting, nice atmosphere, but thought menu was now quite limited if not wanting a 'main meal' at lunchtime. I went for caesar salad paying extra to have chicken with it....More

Please bring back the old menu! It was exciting, interesting, made an attempt to be locally sourced and was delicious. Now it is ok, but not the outstanding experience it once was......and the price is higher. We have been visiting this pub annually for 22...More

They do. We have 3 kids now aged between 14 and 9 but have dined here over a number of years with them. There is also a good space for them to run off energy outside.
