Good pub food. Friendly Staff. Ample portions. Fuller's ale. we booked in advance and were pleased as the eatery filled up during the lunch hour. Only downside - the loos looked a little tired.

Visited with a friend for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, lovely table by the window overlooking the river. Food and wine was lovely including the service. I would recommend.

Definitely a good place for people who want a good choice of food in comfortable surroundings. It manages to keep the pub side of the business separate from the restaurant which seems to keep everyone happy.. Waitress service excellent - or maybe we just got...More

Thank you for your review.... The majority of people do appreciate the way we separate the areas, although I would still say we are a pub throughout, not really a restaurant, however we aim to give the best service and quality food regardless.... Hope to...More

Party of 10 of us, only had the choice of 12 o clock or 2 pm when booking. Pub was like a kindergarten, young children everywhere. Service very slow, main course didn't arrive until nearly 1pm. Very busy. Food ok but not great.More

Winchester being a beautiful and quaint place is wonderfully complimented with this perfectly placed riverside pub. Having grown up in the small village of Twyford, I would often make the 2-3mile walk from my home, up the river to this delightful finish point. The staff...More
