Called in for Sunday lunch we hadn't booked and fortunately this wasn't a problem on this occasion. Though we called in a week later and they had nothing until after 4pm. We were shown to our table by a lovely young girl who was so...More

We booked this table rather late in the day but were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The reserved card with a hand drawn dog paw for our cocker spaniel was a nice touch. The service was excellent and friendly with our order quickly...More

Made a lunch reservation here to coincide with the big apple weekend visit, must say it was very good, the meat and veg selection from the carvery was really good. We all enjoyed it from my mum to my grandkids. Will definitely go back.

Good basic pub food, decent selection of ales and ciders and efficient service. The beer garden could do with a facelift though.

Overall we had a nice meal here. The special duck was well cooked and the burger went down a treat. The guys that had the pie weren't happy with their food. Pretty standard pub fare in a nice environment.
