Myself and my friends and our families attended our graduation at canterbury cathedral and had prebooked a table for a party of 12. The service was excellent the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding really nice hearty food and they were not shy on the portions. Excellent quality was given on all meals ordered. This place is... More

One of my favourite places in Canterbury! Lovely in the summer with the garden and lovely in the winter with the big fires.

After a magnificent Evensong at the Canterbury Cathedral, I walked through the rain (glad I had put an umbrella in the car before leaving town), got lost a couple of times, made a phone call, and, in the end, found the Parrot restaurant. It's a comfortable mix of friends and families. I ordered Braised Lamb Shoulder, Mashed Potatoes with chives... More

Visited Parrot for the first time Sunday evening. Fairly quiet for a Sunday evening. Food was ok, mashed potato with pie was very microwaved and dried out. Burgers were nice although served with chips and sadly the chip oil needed changing! All in all the food was ok!

I've been to the Parrot a few times and enjoyed it but this time I was very disappointed with the food. Also, the staff make you feel like you are not welcome and they are doing you a favour by serving you! Won't be returning anytime soon.

This pub rocks! Great food, cosy atmosphere and great friendly staff. The food here is sensational and I'm glad I made the effort to come for dinner. I had a beer here at 4pm and it didn't look all that great, but we came back at dinner time and the atmosphere had totally changed and the food was phenomenal! Definitely... More

Lovely pub with friendly staff. Take in the cathedral and town then dine in a pub that has welcomed pilgrims for nearly 650 years. We've been twice this year, once in Feb and then in July for my son's graduation. Splendid - going back soon.
