Stopped in for a great meal and delicious beer. My wife and I shared 2 beer flights and then a pint each. Fish and chips and burgers were very good. Sat upstairs with good device. Large menu. Recommended!

Nice place for Real Ale lovers. Visited with friends, very friendly, we'd met them before at the Canterbury Food and Drink festival, (which is a great few hours well spent). They have a number of their own beers available, the food isn't bad either.

No -we weren't aware of the ale tasting. A booking seemed to be helpful at the weekend. We did it and all tables were occupied.

Definitely dog friendly - although we did sit outside. The dog got his own bowl of water and a treat from one of the staff.
