Love it here. Located in a lovely old historic building with great views of the River Medway, Upnor Castle and Chatham Marina. The people are so friendly and the food is lovely and fresh and beautifully prepared and presented. Popped in today for brunch, which...More

Very poor experience visiting across Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Opted to try a local non chain associated eatery as a family member had recently moved into the area. A positive was that this is a dog friendly establishment so we could bring along our four...More

Hi Mike, thank you for your review although this is a massively disappointing read for us. Monday was a horrendous day with one key member of staff down due to a serious (non work related) injury and another being sent home unwell. We were completely...More

Our first visit to McGuires. Staff friendly and helpful. Clear instructions on entering regarding procedures to order food. McGuires is ideal for light bites, brunch, tea/coffee and cake etc. Relaxed atmosphere. Will be returning.

Stopped off here after a walk along the river. Nice spacious venue with a reasonable choice on the menu. Both sandwich and panini were tasty and obviously made with quality fresh ingredients. Great place for lunch.

Been here a few times now and confess to having a favourite- the Parma,Roquefort and pear salad. Delicious! Today we had ginger beer with it followed by carrot cake/flapjack and coffee Very civilised!

Not sure how we came across this place but very glad we did. Went for lunch and found it hard to choose. Ended up with my wife having mushrooms in blue cheese sauce and I had the cheese board of the day which was brilliant....More

We visited Maguires before going onto a family event. The restaurant is not too far from the shopping area. The food is very reasonably priced. They have an excellent selection of cheeses and salamis for purchase but ask for a taster before buying. The site...More

Apparently this delicatessen/cafe opened in March but we were completely unaware of it, as it obviously has not been marketed. It's part of the old pump house now known as "The Copper Rivet", which is a gin and vodka distillery selling award winning spirits. They...More

Description
We are a delicatessen cafe offering a wide selection of cheese, charcuterie, olives, crackers, sweet biscuits, preserves and chutneys. We source as much as we can from Kent and our neighbouring counties however we also have the best of the rest from further afield. As well as having a large selection of produce to buy from the deli counter and shop we also serve a selection of sandwiches, paninis, homemade quiches, sausage rolls and scotch eggs as well as salads. We offer a selection of smoothies and juices and our coffee has been blended specifically for us. We are set in Pump House No. 5 (an old Chatham Dockyard building) over-looking the River Medway to Upnor Castle one side and across the marina to the yachts on the other. A truly unique setting!!
