After being away for three months including a four week stay in a,Liverpool Hospital and two major operations pleased to visit this venue as my first outing after being back home. Went with an old school who has recently lost his wife. Greeted warmly by Dave the manager and had a lovely meal. Glad to be back

One place definitely to eat at as all the cars in the car park prove. We hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in - booking is advisable. The staff were very helpful and the food delicious. Cannot find fault with anything. Highly recommend this eatery.

Visited the Plough Beefeater for an un-planned and impromptu family evening meal. Booked table on line for early evening dinner. Very quiet on arrival, presumably as during 'New Year Blues' period. Selected 3no. smoked salmon, egg and avocado starters and 1no. sticky duck wing starter. Delicious. Main courses of 2no. Rib-eye steaks, New duo beef and salmon salad. Every thing well... More

The only things letting it down, Draught beer was warm as there was a technical issue which management was trying to resolve & 1 of the two toilets was out of order. Everyone's entitled to a...
