Paul and the team at Corey's made my mums surprise afternoon tea the best, we couldn't have asked for more. They are so kind the helpful. To the point of packing one so I could take it away as somebody couldn't make it a late...minute. 10 out of 10.More

Corvid Safety ?

This lovely popular tearoom found us horrified by allowing customers to enter from the door at the rear, pushing unmasked past our table to get to tables at the front of the shop, at one point we were asked to move by a customer so...they could pass by with a walking frame. My friend had to leave the chair she was sitting on and push in close to the table to accommodate this request. They were not the only customers who passed extremely close to use having entered by this door. The staff were good at telling people to put masks on rightly so, but should keep the rear access closed.More

We do not allow anyone to enter without a mask unless they have medical dispensation. ...The rear door you mention is to allow disabled access and the gentleman who unsuccessfully asked you to move was perfectly polite. Your 'excuse' that you would have to move...More

Great menu and atmosphere.

Came here with my partner for lunch. Café was very clean with pleasant decor. We were quickly shown to our table by a very attentive waitress. I ordered the brie and avocado baguette (and was given a choice of bread) and it was delicious. The...coffee was nice too. There was a surprisingly large variety of menu items for a small, independent tea room. Will definitely make a habit of visitingMore

Nice clean restaurant

After visiting the Ramsgate Tunnels, we stopped here for a drink and cake. Good range of teas etc and some lovely cakes. Plenty of well spaced table with hand sanitiser readily available, both inside and in the rear shared courtyard. We were served promptly and...drinks and cake arrived within a few minutes. Nice tea rooms not so good breakfasts.

We had breakfast here one morning it's a very nice picturesque tea room, but the breakfasts let it down. The ingredients was poor, tinned mushrooms and very poor quality sausages, I wasnt given a choice of egg only scrambled.

The mushrooms are not tinned, the sausages are local butchers, Rooks award winning pork & sage and the menu clearly states we don't fry anything, so the eggs are always scrambled... Otherwise, thank you for your observations...

Nice food with great service.

Me and my wife visited this place twice recently & had plenty of food and drinks on both occasions. All of which tasted great and presented well, good work from the chef. We have been coming here for a few years now and will continue...to do so, even with the new owners 😁. The normal great service received from Kane but also a special mention to Rachel, she is so friendly, polite and smiley, it was a pleasure being served from her, thank you so much, keep up the good work. I have no problem whatsoever in recommending this place.More

Amazing tea room

Visited this amazing place many times after moving to Kent last year. Reminds me of the old fashioned tea rooms I used to love visiting as a kid. Great food with generous portions, friendly staff and a happy relaxed atmosphere makes it a must visit...place. Can't wait to visit againMore

If you wanted to take the whole restaurant it takes 56 but we would need to plan when, for instance Saturday would be tricky. If you just wanted the courtyard room at the back we can handle 30 as a "private room". Feel free... More
