lovely old atmosphere occupying a jumble of rooms for a lunchtime snack - sandwiches/toasties/baked potatoes all served with a salad - and cakes and puddings. Children' s menu Flagged floors and kindly staff with a small outside area as well

Made a nice change from the 'conveyor belt' coffee shops and modern tea rooms. Quaint small rooms with traditional decor. Surprisingly comprehensive menu. Friendly service at reasonable prices.

Staff are really welcoming and friendly and we loved the history of the building. Cheese toasties went down well, as did the tuna sandwich. Jacket potato with tuna was OK but would have been better if baked... Think it was microwaved? And the coconut sprinkles...More
