The atmosphere was nice but the food wasn't amazing. It was good but not a lot of choice. Felt quite limited to what I could eat and a bit pricey for what we had.

My friend and I called in on the off chance after a busy day sightseeing. Very accommodating and friendly atmosphere. Food was very good, only downside is that after starters and mains we were unable to manage a dessert. Excellent service.
We live near Kendal and visit this restaurant as often as we can. Everytime we go somewhere else I end up thinking that we should have gone to Deja Vu. The staff are great, as is the food and we always take advantage of the three course offer for £17.95. The Deja Vu salad is wonderful and the raspberry meringue... More
Ate early on a Saturday evening as they were fully booked later and I can see why. Small intimate restaurant with friendly competent staff. We were able to choose three courses from the main menu or the specials (could mix n match) for £17.95 a head. Some dishes carried a small supplement but still represented very good value for money.... More
This small but friendly restaurant produces excellent traditional french cuisine that is well served and very tasty. Well worth a visit if in the area.
My wife and I visited Deja Vu on Saturday 25th March. Currently I am having to use crutches to get around but this was no problem despite the fact that the restaurant is modest in size. Visited Kendal on a Tuesday and booked the restaurant for 8pm because of reviews on Trip Advisor. We weren't disappointed it was busy, service was great and the food was lovely. Will definitely visit again.
Visited Kendal on a cold wet Wednesday ; Kendal was closed and an uninviting place that night. It all got a lot better after discovering Deja Vu. The restaurant was buzzing, the food and service was exceptional. We would make a point of re visiting again when in the area.
