Alarm bells rang from the off in this "Odd Fellows" place. When I walk into my local in Stoke Upon Trent, I have trained the bar staff and patrons to holler "Norm!" in joyous welcome (my name is not Norm). I attempted to arrange this...More

Less than 12 quid for a curry and a pint in Keswick?? Yes absolutely. The Oddfellows offers home cooked (big batch, one pot) food at down to earth prices. At 8 pounds for a curry with rice and poppadom I expected microwave food. It's more...More

Food here was super cheap- and some of it was edible. Chicken and fish were gross, sausages were alright, chips passable. Dogs are allowed in but barman wasn't friendly about them doing so. Bathrooms pretty worn, with chipboard doors to cubicles covered in graffiti.

Extensive menu of pub food at great prices with good size portions, this is not fine dinning but wholesome filling food. A good pint of Jennings and artist night is lively.

Good traditional English pub serving lovely food, we both had the beef and ale stew served in a huge Yorkshire pudding, absolutely delicious, service was very quick and the staff were friendly
