Called into Java for a VEGAN Hot Chocolate - it was excellent (as always). They make it with the best vegan chocolate and soya milk. Lovely frothy top covered with chocolate sprinkle and then all that lovely smooth hot choc underneath. Here's a bonus - they gave me the extra mix in a small jug so that I could top-up... More

Called in for a quick cappuccino and we were not disappointed. Absolutely gorgeous with a good head of creamy frothy milk. Service was great and served with a smile. Plenty seating. The cake display looked so tempting.

A wonderful assortment of drinks both healthy and indulgent. I had a Teapigs chocolate and peppermint. Lots of great taste without the calories. I also enjoyed a top notch scone with butter! Lovely friendly staff and a good clean large WC facility. Comfortable seating and Teapigs available to buy.

I am a frequent visitor to Keswick, probably 12 - 15 times a year, for walking, swimming, etc. I found Java about 5 years ago, and go there every time. The atmosphere is good, with a wide range of clientele. The coffee is very good, I don't often have the cakes but on occasion have indulged, and they are fresh,... More

Popped in here on a visit to the Lake District and we were so impressed by the high quality of the delicious pastries served and the yummy hot chocolate. Very welcome on a chilly afternoon. The staff were very welcoming and warm - altogether a very happy experience.

Came here after seeing the great reviews and recommendations. The coffee / hot was and others looked really good. However, we ordered a panini and toastie and soup. We waited a long time and eventually my panini arrived to be told that the panini grill had broken. I was presented with a panini will all the filling hanging out of... More

Warm yourself up from a day walking in the fells in a funky coffee shop. With a massive range coffees and hot chocolate. A great selection of cakes which look tasty and but also healthy.
