We went in fairly late in the day and long after lunch but there was still plenty of good foot to choose from. I had a really lovely quiche and my husband had a sausage roll. Great coffee too - very happy!

Delicious cherry almond scones. They are huge and taste so good with the jam and clotted cream. Definitely my fav scones i have had!

You have got to try the cherry and almond scones, they are gorgeous - properly shaped scones, not like the rock-cakey things you get in most tea shops. Good quality clotted cream and jam too. Our cream was over-chilled and hard - not worth losing...More

My friend and I had travelled to the Lake District for the day from Whitby and had decided to have breakfast in Keswick when we arrived. We paid for 2 hours parking to give ourselves plenty of time and Laura in the Lakes looked like...More

Our favourite place for breakfast in Keswick. Open at 8am. Wide range of food prepared quickly and served by attentive cheerful staff. Seating both outside (+/- canopy) or indoors. Scrambled egg on brown toast always hits the mark.

Hot chocolate was alright. But I was really looking forward to maple syrup and bacon pancakes, they are a very American thing and should therefore be made with crispy/streaky bacon, not the weird tasting English bacon, it's just weird and wrong. The bacon was also...More

Popped in for breakfast on the last morning of our holiday ahead of a long drive home. The full English was just the ticket - nicely cooked fresh ingredients and reasonably priced. Nice location, though the cramped table arrangement outside is awkward for people trying...More

While in the lakes we visited Keswick for the day. The town was lovely and plenty to see and look round. While here we stopped for some lunch and sat inside for some food. The staff were very friendly smiling all the time and bought...More

Set in a busy spot on the main pedestrianised route through Keswick this is a small but bustling littel cafe. It serves a range of teas, coffees and cakes along with more robust meals. We had a lunch here as well as a breakfast and...More

Called in for tea and cakes after a trip around the lake. A good sized pot of tea each and excellent cakes. We left something behind which was rather important to us and called the cafe next day. They had found it and as we...More

Hello Charlie, you will also see from many other reviews that there was no welcome, or an unfriendly one. These occur regularly, so there is something not quite right amongst the mix of staff you have. It may be worth your... More
