Visited here a few times now, but don't think I've been just a couple before. Menu was fine and the staff were helpful. Plates are quite large (they do tell you), so you probably don't need to order as much as you think. Food was good, but because the plates are large it becomes a bit samey. They did offer... More

Friendly colourful, jolly place. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the food was awful I'm sorry to say. Half the menu items were unavailable. If you like sliced Spanish onions and raw garlic, it's the place for you...

12 of us went on Thursday and it's been a few years since my last visit. The food is still as good as I remember and the service excellent. The choice of tapas was great and we left it up to the waitress to order for us which resulted in a good variety of dishes being served. A lovely local... More

Staying in Penrith for a cycling event, none of us Yorkshire Lasses (CC) had been here before so didn't know the town at all. We asked staff at the Premier Inn and they recommended Costas, we were SO glad they did. Obviously we hadn't booked, but they managed to get us in, the staff more than welcoming, and the food,... Costas managed to squeeze us in on a very busy Saturday night and I'm so glad they did... The food was amazing, some of the best Tapas I've ever had!! The atmosphere was very authentic, inclusive of the staff in traditional. Finally, the host (Karen) was a delight. She had some great advice to offer and made you feel very... More

Stopped by chance on route to Scotland, what a find, great food, service and staff very friendly. I am no longer a tapas virgin, however any other tapas bars better be as good as this. Worth the 300 mile journey :-)

This unique, quaint tapas bar is truly a hidden gem and not what you would expect to find in Penrith. Varied menu, with large portions for tapas. The waitress is wonderful dressed in authentic Spanish attire, you would expect her to speak Spanish and do the flamenco until she speaks in her Penrith accent. Friendly prompt service. Spanish music initially... More

Had a great time here a couple of nights ago. A get together for Six of us - the tapas are excellent, you only need two choices each as they are really generous portions. Mushrooms in blue cheese sauce were delicious, sizzling chicken amazing.

Just walked in on the off chance they would have a table for two......thankfully they did. Very warm and friendly staff, service very efficient, personal and friendly. Food very homely.......be careful not to order too much as portions are very generous and delicious. Definitely somewhere we would return when in the area again and would highly recommend

We went here on a Thursday evening to celebrate my daughters birthday. It was extremely quiet. The food as usual was great and plenty of it. The sangria was good too.
