My wife ordered a Beef dinner, which had the poorest beef I have seen in a long time. Very fatty and full of connective tissue which was too chewy for her. Appraised staff of this but not even an apology. Will not go back. As an ex-chef I expect better quality for the price.

An extensive & varied lunch menu made choosing very difficult! In the end we all opted for the same - a large variety plate with 3 cheeses, a slice of quiche, a generous potion of ham, mixed salad & a few other 'delicacies' including some wonderful fresh-baked bread. Fantastic & very satisfying!

A real find for fine dining. The food is elaborate and superbly prepared, and the staff are friendly and humorous. We had a lovely evening. We would have gone back for a second, third, fourth...?... time during our week's holiday, but unfortunately Mrs Millers is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Highly recommend booking a visit.

Admittedly I didn't have a full lunch but the cheese on toast was terrible. Not browned or bubbling. Salad with it was just sliced up iceberg lettuce with chunks of red and yellow pepper, couple of slices of cucumber and tomato cut into cubes and no dressing. Worst lunch I've had for months. Don't know why locals rate it

We stayed in the area and ended up visiting Mrs Millers three times. Our first was dinner and we received a warm welcome and excellent food. The crab souffle was outstanding and the other three dishes all yummy. We were too full to manage a dessert. It is really classy cooking. We visited next on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed... More

Dropped in for quick snack. Most impressed by standard and range of lunch being served. Best broccoli and Stilton soup ever tasted. Scones, breakfasts, steaks etc etc. excellent value with friendly professional service. Recommend at your earliest convenience

Great coffee, lots of cake, place to put the bikes, potty (good potty!) staff, hunky chips, perfect break on a hard day on the saddle.

We have visited Mrs Millers a number of times for lunch (main meals are gorgeous and great value), but tonight we had our first evening meal there as a family. Very attentive staff and beautiful 'posh restaurant' food - felt like royalty. Will be returning :)
