I've been here a couple of times recently and I've had lovely chips and the other night I had a battered sausage also really nice, it's also a nice place to sit outside if the weathers ok. Will be eating here again.
Fantastic fish and chips with an upstairs dining room. Angel Lane is a narrow road just off the clock tower square but you can smell this place a 100 metres away. Highly reccomended

Great fish and chips! The fish was chunky and freshly fried for us: very tasty. Friendly staff too. What's not to like!
A choice of Haddock or Cod was offered - cooked to order. £4.80 or £4.40 and £2.00 for a portion of chips which we shared. Ordered 2 Haddock. Worth waiting a few minutes for, fish nice and thick, decent size with crispy batter - spot...More
