What an excellent pub/restaurant. The staff are very friendly and polite. Food very good and a wide range of real ale/beer available. Manageress very warm and welcoming and an excellent site just near to the Cathedral Quarter. Well worth a visit. I will certainly go back

Second visit in a short space of time as it's a nice walk from home. The walk back is required after eating a pile of their chips and helping the kids with theirs. No kids menu but available when asked for and is pretty standard as kids menus go. Main menu is typical of a lot of pubs similar to... More

Had to wait a little longer than we would have liked for the food HOWEVER on both visits the wait was absolutely worth it as the food was cooked to perfection and came out piping hot. The chickpea curry is fantastic and I would also recommend the scampi. For a mid week evening meal The Peacock does not disappoint. One... More

I went to the Peacock Inn last night for the first time in about a year/2 years and I was not disappointed. We have been here three times now so I thought it deserves a mention. Always lovely, and most important, HOT food, I hate luke warm. This bar restaurant is great, reasonable value for money, drinks a little pricey, but then again it will be more than a bottle of blossom hill from the supermarket. Well done chef!!

Used to come here a lot for Saturday lunch and always had good food. Not been for 4 or 5 years. Passing by so thought, yes, lets give it a go. At the time we called we were the first in the restaurant; the bar was fairly full with Sky football on the big screen. I went for battered fresh... More

This pub is our regular when visiting lincoln. There is nothing to dislike about the place. A warm and welcoming atmosphere from Simon the landlord through the bar and restaurant staff down to the customers, all contribute to a very comfortable atmosphere. Good beers and great well priced food in the restaurant. A gem

Found this lovely pub and restaurant by accident but what a find didn't eat but the food looked tasty and the ambience and decor were at a high standard. Complemented by real ales. Staff of a high standard and incredibly pleasant.

We went new years eve and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were pleasant. It was nice to see the pub had made an effort to celebrate bringing in the new year, unlike others that we visited. We'd love to come again and try their menu.

Thank onceawonder
