4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Three of us called here for a Sunday evening meal. Good choice. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was warm and attractive and the food tasty and well presented. So why 4 not 5 ?? Well it may be a bit harsh but the chocolate ice cream just wasn't chocolate-y. But we'll definitely go again.

We visited this restuarant during our visit to Lincoln and were very pleased with the quality (and price) of the food. The only disappointing things was the toilets are somewhat compact.

Always find food ok. Nothing special but good value for money. Service sometimes a little slow but in view of location close to cathedral and castle it can be forgiven

We were on a family outing to Lincoln and had been checking out a number of cafe's and restaurants for a lunchtime meal. Most places were busy so getting a table for 5 was proving a problem. We checked out the menu in the shop window and went inside to see if they had any tables, luckily a reservation had... More

We experienced a lovely meal over a recent weekend and would recommend visiting to sample the food. We had a meal for 4 which came out well presented and in good time for all the courses. We went for the meat options on the a la Carey and all of us had nothing but praise for the quality of the... More

Very friendly service and superb choice of food on offer. The mussels for starter were especially tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and not stuffy at all.

After attending a black-tie event the night before, we decided to meet up with friends for breakfast before heading home. We pre-booked a table for eight people, which was ready on arrival at around 10:45am. The restaurant is wonderfully cosy with relaxed, comfortable seating. The breakfast menu was superb and included options for the vegetarian and vegan in our group.... More

First visit today, we arrived half an hour rly as the weather was foul, but seated immediately. Staff welcoming and service prompt, we both chose from the '2 courses for £11.95' menu and were both pleased with our selection. We ordered an additional salad to accompany the arancini as thought it would possibly be a little rich without an accompaniment.... More

Travelled to Lincoln for the first time with my partner and six year old. After visiting the castle we came back out onto steep hill just before midday on a Sunday. There are lots of choices within a short distance in the area but choose cafe zoot due to the reviews on T/A, the fact it was at least open... More

Cafe Zoot is a privately owned business opened in 2000, located in the heart of historic Lincoln. During this time we have become renowned for consistently offering quality produce at great value, where a lively atmosphere is commonplace and friendly staff are attentively at your service.

In January 2013 Cafe Zoot underwent an extensive refurbishment. After listening to our customers on ways in which we could improve our restaurant, Cafe Zoot now boasts a brand new look, and a much more spacious interior.

We are open seven days a week from 8.30Am till late and offer a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu. Throughout the week we also offer a Lunch Special Two Course Menu for £8.50 And an All Day Special Two Course Menu for £11.95. (Everyday except Saturday from 5.00Pm till 10.30Pm)

Our Chefs have worked hard on designing a menu with the classic dishes our customers love as well as offering an exciting A'la Carte menu with dishes to get your taste buds going!!
We always use fresh quality produce and our dishes our homemade and cooked to order.

Cafe Zoot can cater for various functions, whether you fancy a Champagne Breakfast, Birthday or Anniversary Celebration, we can also cater for Business conferences and meetings. Whatever the occasion come and celebrate with us!!
