Popped in for lunch after a busy Saturday shopping in this beautiful city. Staff very welcoming and this was consistent throughout our visit. Lunch menu excellent. Great attention to flavour and presentation for every dish which were all delicious. Bread board was fabulous with a wide variety of artisan breads and delicious dip. Thoughly enjoyable meal and at £17.95 for... More

Very overpriced for what you get. I had king prawn linguine (5 prawns). Pasta was greasy with no flavour whatsoever. It just tasted of olive oil. Hubby ordered rump steak. It was dry and came with a few skin on fries, no veg, salad or even garnish. Very poor.

The service is amazing and thanks to Gabrielle (Nice Sicilian guy that my wife called her son!!) He was so very kind and its the people that make a trip memorable. The carbonara was amazing and the chocolate fondant... More

Had been previously as a walk in and the food service atmosphere was really good. Was in town again so thought a return visit was in order. Biggest mistake of the night ...food was average at best , (I think a blind person with no tongue could have done a better job of my boyfriends pizza) but the price tag... More

Lovely, interesting menu but when I looked at the wine list prices I couldn't believe they were asking £30 for a bottle of Prosecco. I understand the mark up on drinks restaurants have to make to produce a profit, but as a customer I find being treated like a cash cow offensive, so we left, but I did tell the... More

After much fish & chips pints and other fried delights on this trip, I was in desperate need for a real dinner and this place did not disappoint! We tried a verity of dishes-oysters were great, however they serve with hot sauce not cocktail sauce in England. We then had a meat and cheese board-so good-everywhere we went the cheese... More

What a find! Courteous waiting staff and a brilliant atmosphere add to its charm. The food was amazing, I had a carbonara and my husband the lasagne. Both were beautifully presented and tasted out of this world. Next time we're in Liverpool we will be back!

We hadn't booked but thought we would try to get in and they said they would have a table ready in 30 minutes so we went have after that and got seated. We had a table upstairs but the atmosphere was good and lovely choices on the... More
