We had brunch this morning at this place and it was one of the best I've have in a while. It was quite sunny so instead of going to our local we decided to go there instead as it has a terrace. We ordered eggs...More

Nice experience in London or in UK is to have afternoon tea. Browns Brasserie & Bar offers traditional and exceptional good afternoon tea. There were sweet and savoury pastries. The staff was kind and helpful. This was very worth to try.

We popped in here for afternoon tea. The food was quite nice, nothing special, but they forgot plates and cutlery. Then they also forgot spoons to eat the mousse thing with. Nice to be able to sit out on a sunny day and watch the...More

Very disappointing. Afternoon tea. A sparse cake stand was brought, they forgot to bring plates and cutlery. Had to ask for a teaspoon for the mousse. The coffee was half a cup and that was it. The service was poor and no apology for forgetting...More

We went for sunday lunch with my partner's parents. 3 of us had the roast beef which came out tepid, the meat was fatty and looked like it had been left standing for sometime. The vegetables were greasy and the size of the vegetable portion...More

Very disappointing experience. Given an afternoon tea as a gift. Booked way in advance and given a table in a high traffic area. When the afternoon tea arrived no allergen advice given of what any fillings contained. No vegetarian option in extremely small brioche rolls....More

We were really looking forward to our lunch as we heard great things about Browns, however on this occasion I can only rate it as average. A real shame as the views from the restaurant are truly great and the restaurant itself looked really promising....More

Great location in butlers wharf , alongside river Thames not far from tower bridge. Attractive restaurant with exposed aged brick work. Staff polite and friendly. Relaxed but very smart brasserie style premises with similar menu. Service did seem a little slow but maybe that was...More

You asked me to reply to your post saying how sorry you were for the lack of good service and asking me for some solutions as to how you could make it a better experience for the public. To begin with a more rapid response from your staff to ask for our requirements. There were no staff on hand to deal with our request for some wine.one of our party had to go up to the bar to order it. No attempt was made to suggest any other comparable drinks of a similar price. The sandwiches although " delicately " presented were slightly stale, and not much filling in.The scones, as I said before were rock hard and and the " cream" inedible.I was one of the customers who had to leave without finishing the desserts because of the delay in service.I strongly recommend that the gratuity is left up to the discretion of the individual ( or group) of customers, rather than have it added on by the staff, which seemed to be rather excessive. All in all, not a very memorable experience. Mrs. Hall.
