I ignored the negative reviews before suggesting this place but I should have followed the advice of the super consumers here. This was a place I wanted to like but I felt the service really let it down. After we sat down, no one come to the table at all..and the place was empty. Only once I stood up to... More

Service is fine but food is just boring. The beef stroganoff and hummus combination doesn't work. The quality of the hummus itself is average and certainly not worth the price you pay

We went here looking for a diner, different from all the well known possibilities for take-away food. Being from Berlin we are familiar with Levantine-style food and have not been disappointed. Fodd was fresh and really tasty and, most importantly, it was exactly what we expected. Enrico and his team are a nice bunch of lads being fun talking to.... More

I visited Hummus Bros for a healthy, alternative meal. Apart from all of the options I wanted being sold out, the other great disappointment was the freshness of the food. Let's just say I was pretty ill the following day. When I emailed to express my frustration, together with my receipt, I didn't receive a reply. Bad service, bad food... More

Always so good, come for light lunch, have tried both chicken and beef on top of the hummus, both are great and the hummus itself is delicious.

Enjoyed eating lunch here after visiting the British Museum. Food was delicious and they are very accommodating to those requiring a gluten free diet. Hummus and Falafel were gluten free and they can substitute corn chips for pita bread.

I have not been a hummus fan for myself however my friend took me here for a dinner and completely won me over. I had the special fava beans which were amazing and so does the refreshing tabuleh. I did not think that hummus has so much to offer, but for sure I will come back and try also their... More

Loved eating at Hummus Bros and also have their place close to my house on Deliveroo speed dial! The food is great with a surprising amount of variety. Easy service and good value for money. Highly recommend!

A great place to grab an informal lunch to eat either at the wooden tables or to take out to nearby Bloomsbury Gardens, almost opposite the British Museum. Food is Levantine with a heavy emphasis on chickpea-based ingredients like hummus and falafel. These come served as wraps or salads, including some based on quinoa or bulgur wheat rather than the... Description
Hummus Bros was born on a glorious hot day in May 2003, when, as two college friends, we were searching for something filling and healthy that would taste great, and still leave some change for drinks at the Union Bar. Passing on the usual options of pizza or sandwiches, we stumbled out of a small specialist delicatessen with three basic ingredients: pitta bread, hummus and olive oil. In no time at all, the bowls of hummus were wiped spotlessly clean. "I could eat a good meal like that everyday!" someone remarked. We looked at each other and smiled - a dream was born: to open a place dedicated to hummus.

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
