I have memories of better days for The Good Earth. Having said that, I have to say that the Crispy Duck is as good as ever and well worth a visit to this restaurant just to taste it.

Been a few times and went this week. The food is nice but not brilliant. The service is fine not superb. The portions are tiny and the prices sky high. It was packed. I just don't get it? Much prefer Singapore Gardens in Swiss Cottage...More

We have visited the Good Earth in Esher twice in the past month. The first visit was for our daughters 50th birthday and family and the second was for our aunt's birthday. On both occasions all were delighted with the variety and quality of the...More

Local family favourite Chinese for a special occasion. The food is refined, varied and consistently good. However it’s not a place to watch the pennies, even though it’s a suburban restaurant.

I have not eaten at The Good Earth since January and the restaurant is totally unchanged. The food is still good but the cost associated is still significantly higher than general Chinese fair. They must still be the best in the area as the tables...More

Great food. I recommend the seaweed, sea bass, and noodles with beansprouts. The service was good and you can sit either upstairs or in the larger downstairs part which is better in the evening.

Food quality , range and service are very good but expensive and portions are Misery . Average spend could be in double if what you would expect to pay .

We enjoyed the most beautiful lunch at the Good Earth today and as always the food and the service was absolutely first class. Although a little on the expensive side the vegetarian options are vast and varied and we look forward to going back already.

Yes I believe so - as so many people from China are muslims, The Good Earth must take this into account. However, just to be on the safe side, check with members of their staff.

No sure, they do a number of veterinarian dishes, think there is a menu on their web site, why not contact the manager at Mill Hill

Description
Traditional Chinese restaurant situated in Knightsbridge popular with locals as well as business types and the shopped out from Harrods. The decor is all oriental splendour and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. What's cooking? Traditional Chinese fare. Signature dishes include crispy fragrant duck, steamed seabass and mixed seafood platter. Plenty of vegetarian choices with faux chicken and prawn dishes and a monk's casserole - a mixture of preserved and fresh vegetables cooked in a clay pot.
