Visited today, virtually no stock and the pain au raisin was stale and inedible. Toilet had no light in but a small tea light as illumination. In my view the shop should not have been open for business with virtually no stock and one member of staff.Clearly this is a unit going out of business

What a sad place to be trading under the name of Blanc. A great Almond croissant but the praise stops there. We both left our coffee Mochas - lacking in chocolate and dead in flavour. The whole place needs a good coat of paint and freshening up - as for the toilet, very shabby. Don't the management read the reviews... More

I have visited Madison Blanc in several locations but not experienced such lack of staff and motivation,we pre ordered an afternoon tea with a glass of pro secco,I specificly asked for a couple of plain cheese sandwiches, they didn't arrive even thought I asked again on arrival, seemed to be a language barrier and no one in charge, the bubbly was served in... Used to be an institution but all has gone down under new management. Few boring pastries and bland sandwiches instead of magnificent and tempting display of exquisite patisseries, tasteless coffee, indifferent and uncourteous staff... What a shame really.

Went for coffee and hot-cross buns with all the trimmings was very nice. The price was a little full.

Originally created in Oxford yet oh so French, an artisan bakery offering speciality bread and pastries, delicious cakes and pâtisserie, all handmade and bursting with seasonal flavour. Charming and authentically French, a place my lovely St John’s Wood can’t be without.

Picked up a cake and it was okay. Looked great but not really that flavourful. People were nice and it seemed busy so maybe our cake wasn't a good example but tasted like it had nots of preservatives and cake was bland and not too moist.

We had evening coffee here & they were average. The place looks cute from outside and the food display is also cute & inviting when you enter. But beyond that, the coffee was average & the croissant was decent. The seating area felt a bit stuffy & the staff seemed busy with too much to do although they were polite.... More

A large group of friends arrived for a late lunch on a rainy afternoon. The staff were friendly & very helpful especially in rearranging tables in order to accommodate us all. The food was delicious (although portions were not huge). The décor was looked a little tired.
