I visited this evening for dinner with my mother. We were served by a kind and friendly waitress named Patricia. She was very helpful in accomodating a food allergy and the food was excellent. We ordered the chianti shoulder of lamb on the Christmas menu. I've visited a few other Zizzi restaurants before.. the service here was the nicest.

This place is like ever other Zizzi, great food at a reasonable price and great offers. I booked a table for 3 on a Saturday night and the place got packed within 30 minutes. The staff handled this really well and everything went smoothly. All of us were happy with mostly everything. Do not expect authentic Italian food or authentic... More

Had the buyagift set menu offer, when we were finally greeted they had to try and find the right menu for us. Restaurant wasn't busy at all but we were left for half an hour before we got our drinks or our order was taken, we never got the olives that were meant to come with our menu despite asking... More

I was sat down at a filthy table and left waiting without any attention. Decided to leave as unclean and extremely poor service.

I visited Zizzi with a friend on Saturday evening. It was pretty quiet - which we liked - and very spacious. We ordered and were served literally within minutes. I don't like waiting for ages, but it's not a good sign if the food comes instantly. As it was, the pizza was pretty mediocre, verging on cold, with a limited... More

Myself and my friend visited on Saturday 8th October in the evening, we were seated straight away (we hadn't booked) but it wasn't hugely busy. I'm an O2 customer so I showed the waiter the offer on the O2 priority app (free olives and 2 glasses of Prosecco). The waiter didn't even look at the offer or let me finish... More

Lovely decor! Staff are all smiles, helpful and attentive. I had to catch a train from St Pancras so needed to have a quick meal. Service was exceptionally quick. Had the best seafood risotto in a very long time! Great ambiance and lovely crowd. Will be back!

Wanting to avoid crowded busy places, and as we were staying nearby we visited before we went to the theatre. The servers were very welcoming, and as it was early evening it wasn't too busy. Our meal came swiftly and was nicely presented, also very tasty. We also thought the portion sizes were good, and well priced. The only problem for some might... More

Description
At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. Situated between Sherlock’s famous Baker Street and London’s busy Oxford Street, our Paddington Street restaurant is a hidden gem. During the day, it’s bustling with office workers on their lunch breaks and at night, it’s a favourite for cinema-goers and locals. And if you’re good with famous faces, it’s a stone’s throw away from Marylebone High Street; the perfect spot for a little celeb spotting on a sunny day. Dine al fresco on a sunny day.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
