The restaurant was very spacious and the food was delicious. We were seated in the rather posh area located near on the left hand section (much more quieter). The food was served within good time and freshly made, with reasonable sized portions. One happy customer...More

Got the menu for two. Food is good, service friendly and London prices are fair enough. We were not supposed to eat here, but after a long day walking you just need so calories as you burned them all. Let's try this Greek out then....More

Fancying some souvlaki, I went in here for lunch last week with a friend. Souvlaki's really simple but tasty food. All over Greece you can get a pita wrap filled with marinated meat, fresh salad and usually some tsatsiki, all for a few Euros. Here,...More

I expected better food, it is rather average Greek food. But is a nice place to share meze with friends and the view is beautiful. In good company, you'll like it. If you only go there for top quality Greek food, you'll be a bit...More

It's not that authentic but it's fun, fast & fairly tasty. Handy if you need a quick meal before going to theatre, Tate gallery or a film at the BFI. The set price sharing menus are good value.

Abysmal now has a brother, the UnReal Greek. I had Octopus here that resembled a chopped up car tyre, just as chewy and just as tasteless. I also had cold inedible lamb chops with pitta bread that resembled those found in every supermarket Value range....More

The Real Greek is not only a must for anyone visiting London but is also a favourite among Londoners themselves and at Bankside, we pride ourselves in providing our customers with a wide variety of the finest quality of freshly cooked Mediterranean food. Perfectly located next door to the Globe theatre and only a few steps from the Tate Modern, Bankside is in an ideal spot for any occasion. Again serving the authentic Mezedes, Souvlakis and Sharers, our venue has plenty to offer for both business and pleasure. Being situated on the banks of the River Thames, this restaurant draws anyone walking past and we do recommend you make a booking. We have live Bouzouki Music every WE Friday & Saturday evening from 7:30pm
