They take time to prepare your meal. It takes around 12/15 minutes minimum to cook an hamburger (MARIA, the waitress said) So when it is busy, it will take more time. Food is fine.

A regular visit here when in London. You know exactly what you're getting with this chain. I tried their combo meal - it was huge! Service as always, with a smile!

Ed's Diner should spend less on their branding and faux 50s feel, and more on fresh food and ingredients. They clearly don't make anything fresh on site, instead it is just heated up there, probably after being frozen. The mozzarella sticks were especially dry, and the onion rings were all perfect circles. My advice: cross the street and go to Patty... More

Needed somewhere to get a quick meal before the theatre, had been to Ed's about 10 years ago and thought we'd give it a try. Decor is fun and the place has a lot of atmosphere especially with the juke boxes. Lee behind the counter ushered us in and quickly got us placed, she was super efficient and very friendly.... More

Popped in last night with a friend and was very impressed. Excellent service from Iwona. Seriously delicious burger. Don't start me on the vanilla milkshake - it was heavenly. Good to hear Gene Pitney and Roy Orbison. Will definitely go again.

Right in the very center of London, Ed's is a place to stay for a lovely burger and chips. Good service, friendly people, great 60's music. Food quality good. Excellent beer. Don't miss it.

Popped in here for a milk shake and fries before seeing a show. The milk shakes are always amazing (although I hate to think how fattening). I ordered the bacon and cheese fries and this was a mistake. The cheese appeared to be that stuff that comes out of a bottle (a bit like melted cheese strings). It tastes horrible... More

We went as a mixed party 60s, 30s and a five year. It is not the best Eds diner we have been to, it's very busy and seems to have trouble clearing up and keeping the place clean. The burgers were good but again, possibly because of the mess the enjoyment factor was lower than usual. Perhaps it was a... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
