We had a semi-formal dinner for about 20, including a couple of guests of honour, and chose The Tommyfield as it was handy for them. The staff had dressed the upstairs Master Room beautifully with white linen and candles and we had it to ourselves. We had control of the music and a barman to help us with anything we... More

Last night I attended my best friends 30th birthday in the function room upstairs. It was the perfect space for a party and the service was fantastic. Our barman for the evening, Oliver was first class. He kept the party going and put up with a lot of rowdy Scots and Aussies! Thank you for an amazing night and for... More

Four of us stayed for a business trip. On arrival we were met by a very pleasant lady who checked us in and showed us to our rooms. On first impressions it was lovely. Big comfy beds, great size showers and coffee pod maker and a selection of gorgeous teas. The fridge had fruit, water and juice and they supplied... More

Just popped in for a quick drink. Great to see the barman check and shine the wine glasses before handed over. For me that attention to detail means he's cares.

We have been coming here for a couple of years now whenever we are working in London. Both the quality of food (especially the beef ribs I had on Monday!!!) and the service are very good. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place, it's worth coming here for the pies and steaks.

My family and I enjoyed a decent meal here on a Sunday evening in a nice ambience. Whilst everything didn't go completely swimmingly (otherwise I would have awarded a score of 5), it was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly - well worth a visit.

After all of the cafes in Kennington FAILED to provide decent plugs and wifi anywhere I was desperate for a work space and a coffee on a Sunday morning. I had always passed Tommyfield but had never been in, Called ahead to ask if they had plugs and they were incredibly helpful - telling me they had a table with... More

Description
Wonderful sustainable English fish, our famous steaks and old school pie and mash form the heart of our menu. Our chicken and pork is all free-range and we work with some of the best small producers the British Isles has to offer. June 2014 saw the launch of six beautiful bedrooms on our top two floors. Each with their own unique character and charm, they feature either a super king or king-size bed, Egyptian cotton linen, an HD Freeview television, free wireless internet, Nespresso machine, black-out curtains or blinds, mini-fridge and safe as standard. Our private Master Room, with its own bar, is perfect for private parties and events, and hosts one of London's best stand-up comedy gigs every other Thursday.
