Lovely evening at Gaucho Holborn. Food at Gaucho is generally of a high standard, amazing Argentinian steaks and lovely side dishes. But for us part of the reason you go there is the service but you must pick your times. Don't go when it's too busy as the staff don't always get the time to give the best experience. Pick a... More

My experience at Gaucho was astonishing. Being from Argentina I am very proud about how the food culture of my country is displayed around the world by Gaucho. I went with my family for dinner and we were all impressed by the fluency of the service, the professionalism of the waiters and of course the amazing steak. The steaks we... More

I haven't been to this chain for ages but thought it was fine. Nice bread and dips, empanadas were tasty and the steaks excellent and generous portions and about the London norm for their prices. Chips and vegetables were extra. Good, interesting but expensive Argentinian wine list but 4 glasses of house wine at around £7 were nice. No room... More

However, we were seating by the kitchen and we could see there was a bit of caos at some points, with dishes waiting to be served. Our food was great, but the meat got cold very quickly, since the plate wasn't hot. So it was... More

Having been to (and thoroughly enjoyed) the Manchester Gauchos a few times before, I was really looking forward to going to the Chancery Lane Gauchos for my birthday meal. I wasn't disappointed. Staff were friendly and attentive. We both opted for fillet steak which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. A nice touch also was that staff brought my dessert... More
