5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Phoned at 5:30 on a Monday to see if we could get a table for 5 at 6:15 that night. Charming staff member promised me they'd find us space which they duly did. Staff were fantastically accommodating to our seven year old son (and to my 70+ parents), including friendly young bloke who confessed it was only his second shift.... More

Lovely place, tasty pie and good atmosphere. Try out local beers as well. Recommended! The service was great.

This is more than your regular pub...the restaurant is excellent and serves meals from breakfast (opens 8am) all the way through dinner. I went for dinner and had the Ale and Pie Tasting Board which came with 3 mini pies(steak/spicy chicken/ onion potato), 3 mini glasses of complementing local ales, and mash potatoes and two kinds of gravy. The meal... More

We were very excited to try the pies at this pub but I had a horribly painful situation after biting a steel pellet which was in my duck, goose and pheasant pie. I broke a piece of my tooth and have damage to my filling (I am waiting for a dentist appointment). I told the waitress and she said there... More

We had a lovely meal and a couple of drinks here and found it to be really nice. The food is at the very good end of the pub grub scale. Particularly enjoyed the pie sampler plate which had three different pies and three small beers included. A really nice idea and very good. The staff here are lovely and... More

Stayed in London for one night for work and decided to eat dinner in this pub as it was walking distance from the hotel, and also recommended by the hotel staff, which gave us 10% discount. Good food and a nice pint.

We ate breakfast here for our whole visit. The English breakfast was delicious and filling. The atmosphere is spectacular whether you are alone in the pub of rubbing shoulders with all of Chelsea. In the evening it is quite busy, but there is still room to get a small table. We had the pies for dinner one evening and were... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
