Tasty curry deal, accompanied by nan or rice. The ice cream is parev and very very good. It's the oldest kosher Indian place in the area. Over 9 years of experience.

Love the food! good service! But aesthetics need refreshing. Have come many times and food has been consistently good. Have even hosted a party there and it was fantastic.

The decor and atmosphere are good, moderately formal. Good service, attentive staff. Food was liked by my husband, who loves Indian food..he enjoyed lamb vindaloo very much indeed. I found the food ok but a bit too much of the same thing, I had tandoori chicken. Large portions, nicely presented. The desserts for our set menu were disappointing: Swedish glace... More

If your going to employ a manager then at least employ someone who can manage ! An absolute useless manager appears to be the downfall of what otherwise should be a buzzing and very popular choice for Kosher Indian food, there aren't any other places that offer this type of kosher cuisine, the food is spot on in terms of... I had lunch by myself last Sunday afternoon. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and the service is wonderful. The meat thali was amazing for £9.99 and I would thoroughly recommend this dish as it was very filling.

Had a great lunch yesterday at Beit Hamadras - poppadums and chutney, tandoori chops and chick, potato and cauliflower aloo gobi, pilau and naan. Topped off with the best restaurant parev chocolate mousses that I have tasted.

Food was covered in excessive batter. ( onion bhanus and fried aubergine and potatoes. Everything tasted bland with little distinction of taste and flavour. Normally we eat non kosher and there is a world of difference. Maybe the lack of competition enables the mediocre food?

We had an evening meal here. The staff were young, but the service was pretty competent. The food was very good and the environs is all you would expect of a good restaurant. It is on the pricey side (main course around £20) if you sign up on the web site they send you a discount voucher after a couple... More
