It's always a delight visiting 10 Bells, throughout the two years I've lived in London it has become one of my favorite places here! The staff are always polite and energetic, and they always seem to be having a lot of fun. I am a...More

Supposed to be the last place Jack the Ripper Victim Mary Kelly was seen. Small pub with great atmosphere in Smithfield area of Whitechapel

After finishing up a great guided walk through East London, we stopped into the Ten Bells to quench our thirst with a couple of ciders. They had a couple of drafts that we had been enjoying on our walk through the English countryside, and we...More

Tried here for drinks - Wednesday night and absolutely packed - service difficult because of that. OK place but would only go in when not busy

Visited on a Thursday night with 9 colleagues. The place was averagely busy but the service was prompt and friendly. The choice of drinks was great and fairly priced considering it was central London. Plenty of seating and a great atmosphere.

We arrived at 9:00 on Friday night. Great place but go upstairs. Much quieter and the bartender will take care of you. Cool place with great history.

I often pop into this pub after work. Good selection of wine and beer and friendly service. However only drawback is it's very popular. Good if you're out with friends and want somewhere with a good buzz about it.

So we're in London for Claire's birthday day just doing the whole sightseeing thing, thought we'd visit The Ten Bells (I'm a bit of a crime fan) and this was the very place where Jack the Ripper singled out 2 of his victims, firstly it...More

Historical East end pub reportedly where Ripper victims and perhaps Jack himself may have drank. Across from Spitafields market in the Shoreditch neighborhood. Near lots of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Good selection of beers on tap.

For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its
most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the
next big global trend, the hipster zone of
Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around
the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain
hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers
throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting
some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Located smack-bang in the middle of Shoreditch and Spitalfieds lies the institution that is "The Ten Bells" pub. This iconic venue has existed in one guise or another since the middle of the 17th Century. Expect all walks of life in this bustling classic boozer at any time of the day or night. Beyond the listed tile work and villainous history lies a solid and well respected pub with an excellent range of quality beers and decent Bartenders. Jostle in with the crowds downstairs or climb a further floor to find comfortable seating and a unique atmosphere where you watch the world go by on the streets below. Whether you are looking for Beer, Wine or Cocktails, The Ten Bells has it all with a touch of class yet still understated much like its reputation.
