In the heart of Covent Garden this pub is average. It really has only got the view point from the balcony going for it. Highly priced as you'd expect but enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere and admiring the lights.

Was quite surprised at some of the negative reviews! I visited on a Saturday evening with my husband and we enjoyed a couple of drinks and mixed platter of burgers/ pies/ fish and chips, which we thought was really nice, cooked well, tasty and good value for money. Saw quite a few meals being served and thought they all looked... More

Booked for Sunday roast mentioned specifically on the call we were coming for Sunday roast When we walk up to order we are extraordinarily rudely informed that they "don't do Sunday roast" That's despite it being on the menu and as I said we informed the hotel when booking that we were coming in for Sunday roast The staff are... Staff were very rude and unhelpful particularly in the downstairs bar, the place wasn't clean and they were very unfriendly. Upstairs bar was slightly better, staff seemed to lie about drinks they couldn't do - a bit lazy

This pub is brilliantly located at Covent Garden and it's balcony overlooks the street performers doing their thing... which is really the only reason to visit the pub. To be fair, during the months when the shows are on all day and its warm out and all the tourists are about, this pub is VERY VERY busy and it can... More

At best this place is average, one of the must unfriendly places I have visited in London. The staff are not that great, the beer is ok but the food is average. Many better places to try

Located in the heart of Covent Garden, it is ideally located and great for a pre show drink. It is very expensive (£6.20ish for a Peroni) and seats are at a premium, but if you're ok with that then it's good for a couple of pints.

Great typical English pub with good food. Well managed and staff are very pleasant and helpful. We had the traditional pub grub and it was very good.

While our wives were shopping, friend and I were looking for a place to have a pint. My friend being a local suggested Punch and Judy. We decided to grab our drinks and take upstairs to the out door patio, the patio is a great spot, it faces the square below, where you can watch the many street performers who... More

Lovely location for sitting outside watching the street entertainment, which is a good thing because inside it lacks atmosphere and a smile. Each time I went to the bar not once was I greeted with a smile or a hello can I help. If you have a beer here I recommend to drink it outside. Can't comment on the food... More
