Location: just opposite of Paddington train station Service: this business is run by its owner for many years and the service is always great. I went there many time when I worked in St. Mary’s hospital. Definitely the best Italian in Paddington. Food: homemade Italian food. It is always possible to ask for minor changes of the dishes as the... More

Food was nice. Try to go after the crowded hours. The penne pasta was fantastic. Not the best in the world. But it was great. Rosito mushroom was just okay.

We decided on this restaurant because of the positive reviews, there are a few to choose from in the area. The service was good to start with, friendly staff who gave (quite generic) advice about the food. The (physical) menus were a bit dirty and cheap but we ordered and had high hopes. My house red was good and my... More

The menu was quite varied, and we tried the cannelloni and the spaghetti. Both dishes were quite good, though the cannelloni could use more sauce. The service was very slow, and the two servers were running around trying to serve a full restaurant. I would maybe give the place another try if it was less busy.

As this review is being written, we're still recovering from the meal we had. Villa Rosa is perfectly situated a stone's throw from Paddington station. We were greeted as we walked down the road by a lovely Italian gentleman who politely requested our custom, so we obliged. The lady who served us all night was fantastic! So polite and helpful,... This very lovely Italian Restaurant runs by a gentleman from Parma. His colleague from Portugal and a young lady from Salerno. The food was very good and you may also practice your Italian language with the people in this friendly eatery.

Excellent breakfast! Well cooked, speedy, and a bargain at £5! We stumbled upon this place by accident but we're starving, so we were happy to try it for breakfast; great move! It was delicious. We will definitely come back again.

The food was really "heavy". I think it could be better and even the wine didn´t taste like I did expect.
