We had one of the private dinning rooms on the second floor. The ambiance was good and the quality of the food was excellent. Would highly recommend the private rooms for a business or private function. However, and this is a big but... the restaurant...More
We had a group business dinner of more than twenty people and the service was very good. The food was good, the wine plentiful.

The Mercer is very attractive visually. Elegant restaurant that is reminiscent of a Parisian braserie yet menu is very traditionally British food- food is good quality but very 'safe'. Service efficient but 'mechanical'. Better options for dining in area.

Went there for a business meeting and it’s a good environment for that. Good drinks in a nice environment and good atmosphere. The food was more of traditional English food and if you don’t like english food you’ll be disappointed otherwise it’s an ok choice.
Lunch for about 60 in a room on the first floor. A bit crowded as we had drinks in the same room beforehand. Beef main course was delicious. Service was excellent. Mirrors all around the room were a bit disconcerting!
