I went for lunch with my colleagues and all our food was very good. They cook very traditional dishes, nothing adventurous, they do it very well though. I went twice in the space of 6 months and I have seen the same menu so after...More

The food is so good here... I have a special dish that is not on the menu that they make for me ... The service is outstanding - the older male waiters were the best ... added the italian vibe to the place... The newer...More

I went with a friend on Thursday and the food was amazing! Biggest portions I've seen that tasted like a rainbow in my mouth and the service was exceptionally amazing with super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to all.

Not amazing but a solid old school place. Food is generous and fair quality)not haute cuisine). For a business lunch it's ok but I wouldn't take bio clients there or anyone I wanted to impress. Fish was good and just grilled which I suggest.

My second visit recently and the food maintained the same very good standard. A good choice of authentic Italian dishes to cover all palates. Decently priced wines as well. Deserves to do well.

Needed a last minute lunch booking in the City. It was only half full, so easy to accommodate us. Food was decent, service was good and it wasn't overly noisy.

We were a large party of pre-concert goers. Our friend who booked the table found out on the morning that the table had not been booked and had a great deal of hassle as a result. This maybe why the restaurant was empty at 6pm....More

Maybe we shouldn't have looked for a restaurant in Broadgate but there we were. Skipping starters, the three of us each ordered a pasta dish; Fettucine al Salmone, Spaghetti Vongole and (me) Rigatoni Arrabbiata. Service was prompt, the food arrived hot, in good time and...More

Enjoyed a nice veal francese which was very tasty. Scallop appetizer with bacon and spinach was just average. My wife's appetizer of linguine and lobster was okay but at 19 pounds was like an entree. Her entree of veal chop was good but a little...More

Average is probably generous here. The food was retro Italian and showed none of the flair of good Italian restaurants currently to be found in London. I tried the old standby of Mozarella, tomato and avocado salad. Pretty decent cheese, barely ripe avocado and totally...More

Description
In an area of London where faceless service and upmarket chains make dining an anodyne experience, Gatti’s is a welcome relief. The dining room, packed with personality while also being sophisticated and discreet, has a masculine, big city atmosphere giving you the feeling that this is a place where big deals are done over drinks. Gatti’s seems to pride itself on warm, welcoming service which is at the same time professional, and freshly prepared, home style food. The Italian menu is free from the ubiquitous pizza and instead concentrates on beautifully cooked traditional meat, fish and pasta dishes with an earthy Roman slant.
