Whilst I was apprehensive of the recommendation by the cleaner at the Premier Inn, I ended up giving her a tip as I LOVED IT!!!!!

Busy place, playing decent mainstream music but with quite a young crowd - so can get a bit messy! Not visited in a while but always had a decent experience in the past. Good central location in Leicester Square

Description
Take a very cool club, relocate it to a Leicester Square location, add terrific decor and excellent music and voila! It's Metra, a brilliant place to meet, drink and dance, or to hold a memorable party. The decor is slick black & scarlet, with mirrors for preening or checking out the scene. The club also has the two stage areas, Gallery and Purple Room available for booking, free of charge, where black sofas offer comfort whilst providing a voyeurs dream view of the crowded dancefloor. The music ranges from R&B, Hip Hop, Garage and Funky House. Metra provides a high end product with a embracing attitude, an ideal venue for those special occasions even if the celebration is just that the weekend is on its way.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
