My wife and I visited on a Friday night for my 30th birthday. The restaurant had a great atmosphere - quite loud but a nice feel. We were sat near the back almost out of the way which was quite nice. Make sure you book...More

The formula for a high-end steakhouse is fairly simple; Goodman’s tries but falls short. The ambience is perfect; when you walk in you feel like this is the real deal. It’s crowded with many large groups of men and also a nice mix of couples....More

I took my girlfriend to Goodman's for our anniversary, as we fancied a good steak dinner. We were not disappointed: we were warmly welcomed at the entrance, our coats and bags stored in the cloakroom and were shown to our table. The waiter took great...More

This was our second visit to Goodman, and although we were a bit worried that it couldn't possibly live up to our first visit, we shouldn't have worried, it was still as excellent as we remembered! We both had the fillet steak, with mushrooms, honeyed...More

I've been eating a Goodman for a few years now. Last week when my steak was brought out, it was a real struggle to cut it, let alone eat it, clearly a bad piece of meat. The manager insinuated that I didn't like the steak...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed
thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of
London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic
streets will reveal that Michelin stars and
chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even

Goodman is a uniquely British interpretation of a New York grill, offering the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic. Among the huge selection of meat we serve in our Mayfair restaurant is American USDA 'Prime' corn-fed beef, grain-fed Irish Angus, and various rare breeds from the Lake District. Every steak we serve from our extensive 'cut' list has been dry-aged on site - it's the best way to concentrate flavour - then we cook it over charcoal. To accompany your steak, we're proud of the American red wine collection we have amassed - we know it's the best way to complement red meat. Our Mayfair restaurant is located just off Regent Street.
