The Cote Brasserie is a nice option for lovers of French brasserie. A lively, charming interior, good food, nice service. We were there on a Wednesday, and the restaurant was full and everyone seemed to have a good time. Definitely a place to enjoy a glass of wine, have a nice lunch etc.

This was our first visit to the cote in Kensington. We were not to be disappointed. Superb ambience, staff and food. We have visited the brasserie in convent garden too and found them both to be superb. Thank you.

We read reviews of this restaurant before travel to London. We were not disappointed. We were seated at a quiet table in the front of the restaurant. Menu selections were quite varied so we took the suggestions of the waiter and were not disappointed. Haddock in a leek sauce was a standout as well as the Tart Tatin for dessert.... More

Having had a fantastic time almost a year ago, we decided to book again this year. And once again, we were not disappointed. The food is fantastic and the staff are superb. Ivan, the Manager, gave us the warmest of welcomes and made us feel immediately at ease. Although the restaurant was extremely busy, we were not kept waiting too... More

Since Cote Brasserie is a chain of restaurants we expected it to be a little bit impersonal, but that wasn't the case at all. A hidden gem on a back street of the high street, very warm and cozy. Apparently very popular as well - all tables were full. The service was good as well. We wanted something classic French... More

I was introduced to this place by a colleague who uses it regularly. It's easy to see why, menu has great choice, reasonable prices and swift cheerful service. I imagine it will be pleasant to use the outdoor tables in summertime.

Visited this restaurant with my wife Saturday the 18th of March. We reserved a table at 9 pm. And arrived in a packed and very very HOT restaurant. We were seated by a very polite and friendly waiter. We ordered a 3 course meal. Ok starters. I ordered steak tartare for a starter (was cheap quality meat)but tasteful. My wife... More

Côte is what eating out should be about EVENING STANDARD. Our inspiration for the food and design of Côte is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our à la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinières, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Niçoise, for dessert, Côte’s crème caramel and crème brûlee are much–loved house specialities. Seasonality and Côte’s commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a fortnightly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Côte’s atmosphere is informal and friendly.

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington.
