Attended an event here that is normally held at the Modern History Museum. Modern History Museum it is not, it didn't some close in terms of occasion or atmosphere. However the food was exceptional, not sure if caterers were inhouse or not but it was very good indeed especially considering there were several hundred people in attendance.

a decent NZ Pinot Gris and reasonable French red offset some pretty ropey food. There were a lot of people attending so tough for a kitchen. hey could do with a bar for post dinner networking but the main room is excellent

What a unique and fantastic place. It used to be an old brewery and now is a great venue for events. It has a great feeling about it and combines old history and historic elements... More

A gorgeous and quirky venue. I attended a corporate function that had an evening meal, entertainment and dancing. It was lovely although the bar was expensive.

I was here for the company's Christmas Party. It was amazing. Big venue with bar area and sitting area, also a stage. The food was delicious with does not happen a lot in this type of events ( very impressed). The band also great and good location. We had a great time!

Attended the annual Steel Trade dinner at the Brewery this past Friday. As ever it was well presented, good quality food and well waited on by the staff. Porter Tun room is an excellent venue for a function of this size (600 guests).

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
