At New Years eve we arrived at 6pm so that we would have a nice table with a view on the wheel. Whilst getting our drinks at the bar we asked specifically whether we could stay there with drinks until midnight and they informed us that we could. At 10pm a member of staff asked everyone outside to get plastic... More

Basically a good---ish restaurant but rather expensive. I had booked a table but there was nobody to greet me when I arrived. Stood around for 5 minutes wainting but nobody on the desk finally asked a barman who had no English he went and found someone to help. As it was Christmas I decided to splash out on a ridiculously... More

This place is very local to my work place. But it is best avoided in the evenings as it is so very busy and most of the seats are always reserved weeks in advance so you find most of the time you will have to stand. If you go during the day avoiding lunch time you can enjoy it to... More

Nice fresh food in the daytime. Not the place for a group party as they have a noise curfew so the come round and tell you to be quiet or threaten u to leave.

I have experienced some mixed service at some of the Young's riverside pubs in the past, but today I enjoyed a lunch with an old friend at The Riverside, St George's Wharf. I was surprised by the Venison pie which was very good, hot and tasty, while my friend stuck with the cod and chips. The wine price for a... More

It's a big place that seems to love large groups of people. The food is quite poor. Overcooked fries, mussels that are small and overcooked lacking in any flavour, burger that's black in parts and very average, expensive sides. Well just don't expect great food. I would rate it 4/10. They also allow groups with screaming children in which is... More

Great location, close to the Vauxhall interchange, but far enough away to be not tainted by the traffic. Food was good staple pub grub, perhaps a little pricey, but it's London and we were overlooking the river. Reasonable range of beers and supplied just what was needed ahead of catching the train to Twickenham.

Visited here while in London , nice big bar overlooking the embankment , tried the burger which was ok , expected a tastier one to be honest, at £13 didn't rate it as value for money But overhaul a good bar because of its location

Had drinks before dinner at nearby Brunswick house. It's a Young's house with a nice outdoor terrace which, even in November, looked appealing ! The bar inside is a little soulless and, at least during our visit, the staff seemed disinterested. Would recommend for the location but not much else

We made the most of a family visit (4 adults) and enjoyed our time together, but what I'll remember most about this venue is the totally crap service. It was Sunday afternoon in late October and not particularly busy. I got a bad feeling the first time I approached the bar when despite there being at least two staff and... More
